I wear a Garmin Forerunner 255 every now and then. I think it is a nice sidepiece to "normal" watches. I uses mine as well for fitness.
I work at a running store and would consider my self to be a outdoor-head. My family has a background in PE, fitness and bodybuilding so with my work I would say I know a thing or two about Fitness and health (I do not have a degree, so take every I say with a gram of salt) but a Apple Watch and Garmin shows a lot of unessential values for a everyday health. Unless you have a medical reason or health-freak you, just using while you run and keeping track of your progress is enough. Then you could use a real ;) watch apart from that

I like how some actors brings their own watches with it's own personality and uses that. Gives a nice undertone I like to think.
For me it is not a bust if it is a weird or overhyped watch - but I like the details nonetheless
